Our Edible Gardens

Halfway through term 1 one of our grandparents offered to take a small group of students each Thursday afternoon to transform some of our senior school gardens (which were looking pretty miserable).  Those students who were interested wrote to Mrs Bradley and Emma, Kaea, Nicolaas and Adeline were chosen.  They have done a fantastic job of preparing the soil, caring for our plants they look amazing.

We have now expanded our group and spread the green fingers disease, we have separated our strawberries and replanted and made some of cuttings to replant elsewhere in our gardens ... a HUGE thank you to Mrs Bradley.

Do you recognise any of plants were are growing ????

I can't wait to see the garden establish and grow into something beautiful.

Wonderful opportunity to work with Pappatuanuku.
I hope this fosters a love of gardening for life.
